A mixed colour kit pairs black turret cameras with white dome cameras on one recorder, so you can match camera colour to where each unit is mounted. Dark fascias or soffits often suit black turrets, while white domes blend into pale walls or ceilings — one kit covers both without buying two separate systems.

This range spans 4-channel and 8-channel kits from Hikvision, with some combined alongside ANNKE, Dahua or Prolux components. Camera counts and colour splits vary by kit — for example 2 black turret + 2 white dome, or 6 black turret + 2 white dome — so check the exact mix against your planned camera positions.

How to choose

Channel count: 4-channel kits suit smaller properties; 8-channel kits give room to add cameras later.
Colour split: match the black-to-white ratio in the kit to how many dark versus light mounting points you actually have.
Storage: kits are supplied with a hard drive already sized for the channel count, ranging from 6TB to 10TB; larger 8-channel kits may use two drives fitted inside a single recorder rather than two separate recorders.
Recorder model: some listings name the exact recorder (for example IDS-7204HUHI or IDS-7208HUHI-M1/E), useful if you need to match an existing setup.

Why do these kits mix black and white cameras?

So one system can suit both dark and light mounting surfaces — black turrets for darker fascias, white domes for pale walls or ceilings — without buying two separate kits.

Do the 8-channel kits with '2× 8TB' have two recorders?

No — that spec means a single 8-channel recorder fitted with two 8TB hard drives, not two separate recorders.

Can I mix brands within one kit?

Some kits already combine brands, such as Hikvision cameras with an ANNKE, Dahua or Prolux recorder or camera, as stated in the individual kit description.
