A 4MP kit pairs a recorder (DVR/NVR) with a set number of pre-matched cameras and a hard drive, so channel count, camera count and storage all arrive as one bundle rather than separate purchases. This range covers 4-channel Hikvision kits with 2 or 4 cameras, in turret or bullet styles, plus mixed 4MP–5MP camera combinations.
Camera shape is mostly a mounting choice: turret cameras suit soffits and walls at an angle, bullet cameras suit a more visible, forward-facing mount. Some kits mix a 4MP and a 5MP camera in the same box, useful if one position (say, a gate or driveway) needs a sharper close-up view than the others.
Storage is built in and varies by kit — 1TB, 3TB or 6TB drives are pre-fitted depending on channel count, so more cameras generally come paired with more storage to keep similar recording windows.
