IP (PoE) Kits

An IP (PoE) kit pairs a network video recorder (NVR) with IP cameras that receive both power and data over a single Ethernet cable — no separate power leads to run. This range covers complete kits from 4-channel systems up to a 32-channel Hikvision setup, with cameras and a hard drive already specified as a set.

Camera counts vary by kit — some pair a 4-channel NVR with just two cameras, others (like the Tiandy and Prolux kits with four DS-2CD2723G0-IZS cameras) use all four channels from the start, leaving room to add more later up to the NVR's channel limit.

Resolutions across this range span 2MP to 4K, and storage is bundled per kit — typically 4TB, with at least one 8-channel HiLook kit including a 5TB drive.

How to choose

Channel count: match the NVR's channels to how many cameras you need now and might add later.
Resolution: higher MP (4MP, 5MP, 4K) gives sharper detail for identifying faces or plates.
Lens type: some cameras (e.g. 2.8-12mm models) are varifocal, letting you adjust the field of view on installation.
Storage: check the bundled HDD capacity suits your expected recording retention.

PoE stands for Power over Ethernet, meaning each camera gets both power and data through one network cable, which generally simplifies cabling compared to separate power runs.

Can I add more cameras later?

Many kits use fewer cameras than the NVR has channels (for example a 4-channel NVR supplied with two cameras), so there is typically spare capacity to add more up to the channel limit.

How much storage do these kits include?

Storage is bundled per kit, most commonly a 4TB hard drive, though at least one 8-channel HiLook kit in this range includes a 5TB drive instead.
