One 10m lead does both jobs: it carries the video signal and the 12V power to a single analogue camera, so you're not pulling two separate cables through a wall or joist.
What it actually is
Inside the outer jacket you get a 75Ω RG59 coax (the video line) run alongside a 2-core DC power pair — a "shotgun" lead, meaning the two are bonded together rather than sold loose.
- Video: BNC male plug at each end, ready to push straight into a camera's BNC output and a DVR/NVR's BNC input — no crimping tools or baluns (adapters that convert signal types) required.
- Power: 2.1mm DC plug at the camera end, 2.1mm DC socket (or bare tails) at the supply end, for feeding 12VDC from a central power supply.
- Connectors: moulded strain-relief on both the BNC and DC ends, which helps them survive being handled and re-terminated during install or a later fault check.
- Jacket: external-grade PVC, fine for indoor runs or a sheltered outdoor route if it's clipped and supported properly — not intended for direct burial or fully exposed runs.
Before you buy
Check your camera actually uses analogue-style BNC output (CVBS, HD-TVI, AHD or CVI) and a 2.1mm DC connector — this lead won't suit IP cameras, which run over network cable instead. It's built for one camera per lead, run back to a DVR or a junction box.
