Product Description
One cable does two jobs. The Aura RG59 Shotgun Cable 100m Reel – Coax + Power Black carries video and power through a single 100 metre run, so each camera drop needs only one cable pulled rather than two.
What's inside
It's built from an RG59 coaxial core (the standard analogue CCTV video cable) with 2 x 0.5mm power conductors bundled in the same PVC jacket. Outer diameter is 6.15mm.
Compatibility
The 75 ohm impedance matches standard CCTV video signal requirements. It works with HD-TVI, HD-CVI, AHD, and CVBS analogue camera systems — check your DVR and cameras use one of these before buying, as this cable is for analogue systems, not IP/network cameras.
Where to use it
Rated for indoor and outdoor CCTV installations. Because it's supplied on a reel, it suits longer runs where you're wiring multiple cameras back to a central recorder and power supply, cutting down on separate power cabling at each point.
Before you buy
- Confirm your cameras and recorder are analogue (TVI/CVI/AHD/CVBS) — this cable won't carry an IP camera's data.
- Check your run length fits within the 100m reel, or plan joins carefully to avoid signal loss.
- Store the reel somewhere dry until installation if it won't be used straight away.
This is a cable supply product — fitting and termination are down to you or your installer.
