Product Description
This is 1.5mm² 3-core 3183Y white flexible cable, sold here in a 1-metre length — useful for short mains power runs where a full reel is more than you need.
What it's for
3183Y is a flexible PVC-insulated mains cable commonly used for connecting equipment to the mains supply. The 3-core construction carries live, neutral and earth, and the 1.5mm² conductor size is a standard rating for domestic power connections.
Why buy it by the metre
If you're wiring a single CCTV power supply, extending a plug lead, or making a short repair, a 1-metre cut avoids buying a full 100-metre reel. It's the same cable construction, just supplied short.
Things to check before ordering
- Confirm 1.5mm² and 3-core match what your existing wiring or connector expects.
- White colour — check this suits your installation if cable colour matters for matching existing runs.
- This is a single 1-metre length, not a reel — order multiple lengths if you need more.
If you're unsure whether this cable is rated for your specific load or installation, it's worth checking with a qualified electrician before connecting anything to the mains.
