Product Description
The DS-2CE71H0T-PIRLO is a 5MP HD-TVI turret camera built for indoor spaces where you want motion-triggered alerts as well as recording. It works over coax with existing HD-TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS DVRs, so it can slot into older analogue systems without rewiring.
PIR detection explained
PIR stands for Passive Infrared — the camera senses body heat rather than analysing the image, so it's less prone to false triggers from shadows, headlights or lighting changes. When motion is detected, it can fire a strobe light and alarm output to warn off an intruder in real time, on top of triggering a recording event on a compatible Hikvision DVR.
Night vision and image quality
Maximum resolution is 2560 × 1944, sharper than a standard 1080p analogue feed. Built-in EXIR 2.0 infrared gives night vision to 20 metres, with automatic day/night switching via an IR cut filter so footage stays clear once the light drops.
