What it does: the DS-2CE78K0T-LPTS is a 3K HD-TVI turret camera that adds two-way audio — a built-in microphone and speaker so you can listen and talk through the camera — carried over the existing coaxial cable, not a separate audio wire.
Image and night performance
Resolution runs to 2960 × 1664 (3K), giving noticeably sharper detail than standard 2MP cameras. Smart Hybrid Light combines white light and infrared LEDs: up to 20 m of white light for full-colour night footage, or up to 30 m of infrared for more discreet monitoring. Which mode runs, and when, can be set on the camera or via a compatible recorder.
Where it fits
The turret shape mounts easily to ceilings or walls, useful where a dome or bullet housing doesn't suit the fixings — think entrances, counters, or perimeter points where someone might need to hear or speak through the camera. It works with HD-TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS formats, so it should slot into most existing analogue coax setups.
