What this camera does

The Hikvision DS-2CE70K0T-PTLTS is a 3K turret camera for analogue (coax-based) CCTV systems, giving 2960 × 1665 resolution — noticeably sharper than standard 1080p. It has a fixed 2.8 mm lens, which is a wide-ish angle suited to entrances, corridors and general perimeter coverage rather than close-up zoom.

Night viewing

It uses ColorVu technology (Hikvision's term for full-colour night recording via built-in white light rather than relying on infrared alone), giving up to 20 m of white light and 25 m of IR range. Smart-Hybrid Light lets it switch between the two, so you get colour detail when there's enough light and IR reach when it's fully dark.

Audio, without extra cabling

This model has a built-in microphone and speaker, and sends audio over the same coaxial cable as the video — no separate audio wire needed. That two-way audio only works if it's connected to a Hikvision DVR that supports audio-over-coax, so check your recorder's spec before assuming it'll work.

Fitting it into an existing system

Because it supports HD-TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS signal formats, it can go into most existing analogue setups — modern or older — making it a sensible option when replacing a single camera rather than rewiring. The housing is IP67-rated against dust and water, and mounts flexibly on ceilings or walls for outdoor use.
