Product Description
The DS-2CE78K0T-LTS is a 3K analogue turret camera that lets you see in sharper detail and talk through the camera itself. It's built by Hikvision for HD-TVI CCTV systems, so it slots into an existing analogue setup rather than requiring a full IP overhaul.
What it actually does
Resolution runs to 2960 × 1665 (3K) — a real step up from standard 1080p analogue cameras, useful where you need to make out faces or number plates rather than just movement. The lens is a fixed 2.8mm wide-angle, good for covering entrances, shop floors or a driveway in one shot, though it can't zoom in on a distant detail. The turret housing itself can be angled during fitting to fine-tune coverage.
At night, Smart Hybrid Light gives you a choice: up to 40m of white light for full-colour footage, or up to 40m of infrared for more discreet, black-and-white monitoring. Which mode runs, and when, is set through the connected DVR — not the camera on its own.
The built-in mic and speaker send two-way audio down the same coaxial cable as the video, so you can listen in or speak through the camera without running separate audio wiring — but only when paired with a Hikvision DVR that supports audio over coax.
Compatibility check before buying
It outputs TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS, covering most analogue DVR brands. The housing is IP67-rated, so it's rated against dust and water ingress for outdoor mounting.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a special DVR for the two-way audio to work?
Yes — the built-in mic and speaker send audio over the coaxial cable, but this only works when paired with a Hikvision DVR that supports audio over coax.
Will this camera work with my existing analogue DVR?
It supports TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS output formats, so it's compatible with most existing analogue DVR systems without rewiring.
How far can it see at night?
Up to 40 metres using white light for full-colour footage, or up to 40 metres using infrared for more discreet low-light monitoring, switchable via the connected DVR.
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, the housing is IP67-rated, meaning it's protected against dust and water ingress.
