The Hikvision DS-2CE78H0T-IT3FS with 2.8mm lens is a 5MP HD-TVI turret camera designed for analogue surveillance systems requiring high-resolution video and integrated audio recording over coaxial cable infrastructure. It delivers video at a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1944, providing enhanced image clarity suitable for commercial, industrial, and residential installations.
This model includes a built-in microphone, enabling audio transmission over coaxial cable when connected to compatible Hikvision DVRs supporting audio over coax functionality. This allows both video and audio to be recorded without requiring additional cabling, simplifying installation.
The fixed 2.8mm wide-angle lens provides broad area coverage, making it suitable for entrances, corridors, building perimeters, offices, retail spaces, and external monitoring points. The turret housing allows flexible positioning during installation, ensuring optimal field of view alignment.
Integrated EXIR infrared illumination provides night vision capability up to 40 metres, enabling reliable surveillance in complete darkness. True Day/Night functionality automatically switches between daytime colour mode and infrared night mode using an IR cut filter.
The camera supports TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS output formats, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of analogue DVR systems and allowing seamless upgrades using existing coaxial cable infrastructure. The IP67-rated enclosure ensures protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
