Product Description
Three things decide whether the THC-T250-M-R CCTV camera module suits your property: the recorder it plugs into, the lens variant, and the light where it will sit.
Check the recorder first
This is a 5MP Turbo HD mini turret. It sends its picture over coaxial cable to a compatible DVR (the digital video recorder that stores the footage), so the camera itself holds no recordings. Its output switches between HD-TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS, so the DVR channel needs to accept one of those. Power is 12V DC.
Pick the view
The lens is fixed, either 2.8 mm or 3.6 mm depending on the variant supplied. A shorter lens generally gives a wider view and a longer one a tighter view, so think about whether you're covering a hallway or a front door.
What happens after dark
- Built-in infrared lights the scene up to 20 metres.
- Smart IR adjusts the infrared output so people close to the lens aren't washed out.
- Footage is colour by day and black-and-white under infrared at night.
- Digital Wide Dynamic Range and digital noise reduction help in scenes with bright and dark areas.
Where it fits
The compact turret body suits entrances, corridors and other key areas at homes and businesses. The metal and plastic housing is IP66-rated for outdoor weather resistance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the THC-T250-M-R record on its own?
No. It connects to a compatible DVR over coaxial cable, and the recorder handles storage.
Which video formats can I choose?
The output is switchable between HD-TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS.
Why might the image flicker at night?
Infrared LEDs draw more power in the dark, so a weak supply or a long, poor-quality cable run can cause flicker or a black screen. Check the 12V DC adapter rating and the cable.
