The IDS-7216HQHI-M1/XT is a 16-channel recorder that accepts five different camera signal types — HDTVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP — on the same analogue inputs. That matters if you're upgrading an existing coax-cabled system: you're not forced to rip out old cabling to add newer cameras.
It's a 1U box with one SATA bay, taking a single HDD up to 12TB, and you can add network storage (NAS or iSCSI) if you need more than that one drive gives you. Recording and analytics
