Product Description
Running sixteen cameras is easier when the recorder also powers them. The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-K2/16P(E) 16-Channel PoE AcuSense 4K NVR does that: PoE (power over Ethernet) puts power and video on one network cable, and this unit has 16 integrated IEEE 802.3af/at PoE interfaces. Compatible IP cameras are powered and configured straight from the recorder, which reduces the need for a separate PoE switch.
Recording and storage
- Records IP cameras up to 16MP, with 16MP available on channel 1
- 160Mbps incoming and 160Mbps outgoing network bandwidth
- H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264 compression, the formats that decide how much footage fits on a drive
- Two SATA interfaces, up to 16TB per HDD
On the monitor
HDMI and VGA outputs are independent, so two screens can run together. HDMI reaches 3840 × 2160 at 30Hz. Sixteen channels can play back in sync. With the recorder's own AI switched off, it decodes three 12MP, five 8MP, ten 4MP or sixteen 2MP channels.
Fewer false alarms
AcuSense sorts people and vehicles from other movement, and adds perimeter protection and Motion Detection 2.0 to cut alerts from things you don't care about. Facial detection and face-picture comparison are supported. AcuSearch playback covers all channels when the cameras are AcuSearch-enabled.
Check before you buy
ANPR (number plate reading) and AcuSearch happen in the camera, so you need compatible cameras with those functions enabled.
For wiring and integration you get ONVIF Profiles S and G, Hikvision SDK and ISAPI, four alarm inputs, one alarm output, RCA audio in and out, Gigabit LAN and two USB 2.0 ports.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a separate PoE switch with this recorder?
