2 cameras in the box. Uses analogue cameras, so if you're reusing old coax, check it's in good condition and compatible first.
Recorder capacity
The 2 cameras in this kit take 2 of the recorder's 8 channels. That leaves 6 spare for adding cameras later. Before you add any, check the recorder supports their resolution and has the recording bandwidth for them, and that you've got power or PoE ports free.
Recording storage
It comes with 3TB of storage. How long it records for depends on the mix of cameras, the bitrate and when it's set to record. For this kit, we can't give a reliable number of days.
Before installation
The box list shows which cables, power supplies and mounting bits come with it. Choose cable lengths and camera spots to suit your property — the number of cameras on its own doesn't tell you what they'll cover. At each spot, check how wide the lens sees, the lighting there and how well the camera's protected from the weather.
