3TB - HDD 3.5" SATA Hard Drives – Free Installation with Any CCTV Kit or Package -Ideal for 24/7 continuous recording

The HDD-3TB-Pre-installed is a 3TB 3.5" SATA hard drive built for continuous CCTV recording, supplied already fitted into your DVR or NVR before dispatch rather than as a separate part you install yourself.

What it does in practice

Surveillance recording writes to disk constantly, which is a heavier workload than a typical desktop drive sees. This one is rated at 7200 RPM and uses a SATA III interface, giving it the speed and consistency needed to keep up with multiple channels writing footage around the clock.

Compatibility

It's built to work with all DVR and NVR surveillance systems, so it slots into most existing CCTV setups without extra adapters. Beyond CCTV, the same drive works fine in desktops, servers, NAS devices, and external enclosures, so it's not a single-purpose part if your needs change later.

What to check before buying

• Capacity: 3TB — think about how many cameras you're running and how long you need footage kept before it overwrites.
• Fitting: this drive comes pre-installed as part of a CCTV kit or package, so confirm it's compatible with the specific system you're adding it to.
• Use case: best suited to 24/7 continuous recording rather than occasional or motion-only capture, where a smaller drive might suffice.
