The XVR-3108HS-5MP-LITE is an 8-channel Penta-brid DVR, meaning it accepts HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP cameras on the same recorder — useful if you're mixing older analogue cameras with newer IP ones rather than replacing everything at once.

Each of the 8 channels supports up to 5MP resolution, and video is compressed with H.265+ to keep file sizes manageable on the hard drive. Synchronous playback across all 8 channels is supported, so you can review multiple cameras side by side.
