The iDS-7204HQHI-M1/XT is a 4-channel 1U DVR that records from analogue-style cameras (HDTVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS) and can also take a few IP cameras on the same box — up to 6-ch network cameras in total. That "5 signals input adaptively" spec means you don't have to fuss over which format your cameras use; the recorder works it out.
It uses AcuSense, Hikvision's deep-learning filtering — plain English: it tells people and vehicles apart from cats, blowing leaves and shadows, so you get fewer pointless alerts. One channel can run facial recognition, or you can dedicate two channels to a more advanced perimeter-protection mode instead.
