What's in the box
Here's what comes in the box and how many you get of each. Tap any part for the full spec.
Uses analogue cameras, so if you're reusing old coax, check it's in good condition and compatible first.
Recording storage
It comes with 4TB of storage. How long it records for depends on the mix of cameras, the bitrate and when it's set to record. For this kit, we can't give a reliable number of days.
Before installation
The box list shows which cables, power supplies and mounting bits come with it. Choose cable lengths and camera spots to suit your property — the number of cameras on its own doesn't tell you what they'll cover. At each spot, check how wide the lens sees, the lighting there and how well the camera's protected from the weather.

Product Description
This is a Dahua WizSense XVR5104HS-I3, a 4-channel 4K AI Penta-brid CCTV DVR (a recorder that accepts multiple analogue and HD camera signal types on the same channels), supplied with a 4TB hard drive already installed.
What "Penta-brid" means for you
Penta-brid means the recorder can take several different camera signal types into its 4 channels. In practice this is useful if you're mixing camera types or replacing an older analogue system without wanting to recable the whole site.
Storage, already sorted
The 4TB drive is pre-fitted, so there's no separate hard drive to source or install — one less thing to get wrong on a first CCTV setup. How much footage 4TB actually holds depends on camera resolution, frame rate and how many of the 4 channels you're recording, so it's worth checking that against your own camera count before assuming coverage length.
Is 4 channels enough?
Each channel connects one camera, so this unit records up to 4 cameras at once. That suits a small shop, a single office, or a modest residential property — if you're planning to grow past 4 cameras later, that's a hard ceiling on this model, not something firmware can extend.
AI WizSense
Dahua's WizSense branding on this model refers to AI-assisted features built into the recorder, though the specific functions aren't detailed here — check with us if a particular detection feature matters to your setup.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many cameras can I connect to this DVR?
Up to 4 — one camera per channel, since this is a 4-channel recorder.
Do I need to buy a hard drive separately?
No, a 4TB hard drive comes pre-installed and ready to record once cameras are connected.
What does 'Penta-brid' mean?
It means the recorder's 4 channels can accept several different analogue and HD camera signal types, which helps if you're mixing camera types or upgrading an older system.
Is this DVR suitable for a larger site with more than 4 cameras?
No — it has 4 channels only, so it suits smaller sites like a single shop, office or residential property rather than larger multi-camera estates.
