Product Description
A UK BS1363 fused plug on one end and an IEC C13 female connector on the other — this is the standard "kettle lead" that powers most rack-mounted CCTV kit from a wall socket or PDU outlet.
What it fits
The C13 connector mates with the C14 inlet found on NVRs, PoE switches, monitors and DVR power supplies. If your equipment has a three-pin kettle-style socket on the back, this lead will fit it — check the inlet shape before ordering if you're unsure, as some smaller PSUs use different connectors.

Choosing straight or right-angle
A straight C13 connector works fine where the equipment's inlet is easy to reach. Go for the right-angle version if the rack is shallow or a cable management arm limits how far the plug can protrude — it avoids straining the connector every time the rack door opens.
At 1.5m, it's sized for a PDU-to-mid-rack run or a nearby wall socket feeding rack gear, without a metre of slack to tidy away.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this lead fit my NVR or PoE switch?
If the power inlet on the back is a standard IEC C14 socket (the common three-pin kettle-lead shape), yes — this C13 connector mates with it.
Straight or right-angle — which do I need?
Straight suits inlets you can reach easily front or rear; right-angle is better where the rack is shallow or cable management leaves little clearance behind the unit.
What's the fuse rating in the plug?
A 13A fuse is fitted as standard, with 5A and 10A options also available.
Is this lead suitable for continuous rack use?
Yes — it's rated 10A at 250VAC with an operating range of -10°C to 70°C, and uses SVTR/VDE approved construction with moulded strain relief for repeated rack door movement.
