A kettle lead is simply the mains cable that runs from a wall socket (or PDU) to the IEC C14 inlet on a piece of equipment — and this one is sized and rated for CCTV recording kit.

Before you buy
Check the inlet on your CCTV equipment is the common IEC C14 type — this lead won't fit a barrel-jack or terminal-block PSU. If you're running several rack units, plan one lead per device rather than daisy-chaining.
If a camera's night-time picture flickers or drops out, that's usually a power issue elsewhere in the chain — a weak adapter or long, thin cable causing voltage drop — rather than anything to do with this mains lead.
