What this is
A 100 metre reel of RG59 coaxial cable for analogue CCTV video signal runs — the single-core coax type used to connect analogue cameras to a DVR. Supplied on an installation reel so you cut the length each camera run needs.
Where it fits
RG59 is the coax used with HD-TVI, AHD and CVI analogue camera systems as well as older standard analogue setups. Check your cameras and recorder both use one of these coax formats before ordering — this cable carries video signal only, not power.
Construction
It's a single core coaxial design: a central conductor wrapped in insulation and shielding. That shielding is what keeps interference off the video signal on longer runs between camera and recorder.
Colour and use
The jacket is black, suitable for indoor and outdoor installation. Being on a bulk reel rather than pre-terminated leads, you'll need to fit your own connectors (BNC) at each end once cut to length.
