Product Description
A 10m CAT6 patch lead with RJ45 plugs already fitted at both ends — no crimping needed. It's wired to T568B (the standard pin layout used on almost all pre-made patch cables), so it works as a straight-through connection between switches, NVRs, routers, PCs or PoE devices.
Inside, 24AWG stranded copper UTP (unshielded twisted pair) conductors support full 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet, rated to work up to the standard 100m channel length — well within range for a 10m run. Bandwidth is rated to 250MHz, ahead of CAT5e, and it stays backward compatible with 100Mbps Fast Ethernet gear if you're mixing old and new kit.
Where this fits in a CCTV setup
Typical uses on a surveillance job:
- Patching a PoE switch through to a patch panel or wall outlet
- Connecting an NVR to a monitor, PC or operator workstation
- Camera-side patch runs where a factory-made lead is more reliable than a hand-crimped one
The black PVC jacket is flexible enough for tight rack routing, and the snagless moulded boots stop the clip catching or snapping when you're pulling cables in and out of a crowded rack.
Before you buy
Check your NVR or switch actually needs Gigabit — CAT6 is worth it for high-resolution multi-camera streams, but a basic single-camera setup may run fine on CAT5e. If your total cable run (this lead plus any fixed cabling) is nearing 100m, confirm the combined length with whoever's speccing the job.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this cable work with my PoE CCTV switch?
Yes — it's a standard T568B-wired patch cord suitable for PoE switches, NVRs, routers and PCs in structured cabling setups.
Is 10m long enough to run from my NVR to a wall socket?
For most rack-to-wall or NVR-to-PC distances it's plenty; CAT6 supports Gigabit Ethernet up to a 100m channel length in total, so 10m leaves plenty of headroom.
Does it support Gigabit speeds or just Fast Ethernet?
It supports full 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet thanks to 24AWG copper conductors and 250MHz bandwidth, while remaining backward compatible with 100Mbps Fast Ethernet gear.
What connector wiring standard does it use?
Both ends are terminated to the T568B standard, giving a straight-through connection with no crossover needed.
