The DS-2CE12UF3T-E is an 8MP HD-TVI bullet camera that records at 3840 × 2160, giving enough detail for identifying faces, vehicles or clothing rather than just spotting movement.
Where it fits
It's designed for coax-cable installs — entrances, perimeters, industrial sites and commercial premises where identification detail matters. Because it outputs HD-TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS, it can also work as a drop-in upgrade on existing analogue coax runs, so a full re-cable usually isn't needed.
Day and night behaviour
True Day/Night switching means the camera shows colour during daylight and switches automatically to infrared-assisted monochrome once light drops, via an internal IR cut filter. Built-in infrared illumination gives night vision up to 80 metres, while the camera's white light can extend bright night imaging out to 40 metres — worth checking against your site's actual sightlines before choosing a lens.
