Product Description
This is the male half of a DC power pigtail — a short 15cm lead ending in a 5.5mm OD x 2.1mm ID male barrel plug, made to plug into the female DC jack on a CCTV camera.
Wiring is colour-coded 18-22AWG: red is positive, black is negative, so you can wire it into a PSU output without guessing polarity. It's rated 12-24VDC, 2A continuous, which covers a single camera feed — including the extra draw when IR night-vision LEDs kick in.
The 15cm length suits short runs: straight from a multi-channel rack power supply's screw-block output to a junction box, or tucked inside a dome/turret camera housing where there's little spare cable space. Ends are pre-stripped, ready for screw terminals, crimps or Wago blocks — no soldering needed for a standard install. PVC-insulated, with screw-terminal versions available if you want tool-free termination on site.

- Check your camera's jack is the standard 5.5x2.1mm size (common on analogue, HD-TVI, AHD and CVI cameras).
- Confirm your PSU output matches 12V or 24V DC.
