What the Texecom Kit-1003 actually does

This is a self-contained wireless intruder alarm kit, built around Texecom's Ricochet mesh technology, meaning each wireless device can relay its signal onward to the panel rather than needing a direct line back. That's useful in larger homes or multi-room layouts where a single detector might otherwise struggle to reach the control panel.

• Compatibility with Texecom Connect and support for the Premier Elite ComWiFi module, for remote system notifications and management

Before you buy

• No external sounder is included in this configuration — you'll need to add one if your setup requires it.
• The panel needs an AB21 2.1A backup battery, which is typically supplied separately.
• Because zones start at 32 and expand to 64, it's worth planning ahead if you expect to add detectors, contacts, or keypads later.
