The Texecom GHA-0001 Ricochet Connect Series, Wireless White Magnetic Micro Contact-W is a small wireless sensor that tells your alarm when a window or door has been opened. It is small enough to be concealed within most uPVC window frames, so the frame keeps its clean look.
What it does, in plain English
A magnetic contact is a two-part sensor: a magnet on the moving part and a sensor on the frame. When they separate, the alarm panel is told. This one reports by radio using Ricochet mesh technology. In a mesh, devices can relay one another's signals rather than each needing its own direct path to the panel. Because it is wireless, there is no cable to run to the opening.
