This PoE extender is designed to extend Power over Ethernet transmission distance for IP surveillance and network infrastructure installations. The device allows both power and data to be transmitted an additional 100 metres beyond the standard Ethernet cable limit, making it suitable for long-distance CCTV deployments and remote network device installations.
The extender operates using IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE standards and receives power directly from the upstream PoE switch or injector. It does not require a separate power supply, simplifying installation in locations where mains power is not available. The unit regenerates both the Ethernet signal and PoE power, enabling reliable network connectivity for devices installed further from the main switch.
The device features RJ45 PoE input and output ports and supports Gigabit Ethernet transmission speeds for high bandwidth applications such as IP cameras and network video surveillance systems.
