What the PSU-BOX-12V-30A-18CH actually does
This box takes a single 100–240V AC mains feed and turns it into regulated 12V DC power for up to 18 cameras, sharing a total output capacity of 30A across them. It's built for sites where running separate plug adapters to every camera becomes impractical.
Why the per-channel fusing matters
Each of the 18 outputs has its own PTC fuse (a resettable fuse that protects individual channels). If one camera or cable run develops a fault, that channel's fuse isolates the problem rather than affecting the other outputs. An LED next to each output shows at a glance whether that channel is live, which makes fault-finding at the box far quicker than tracing cable back to a camera.
Where it fits
Designed for wall mounting, in a metal enclosure with a lockable cover, so it suits equipment cupboards, comms cabinets or control rooms where the wiring needs to stay tidy and protected from casual tampering.
