Product Description
This is the main unit of Hikvision's modular door entry system — the part that houses the camera and does the talking, not a complete kit. It's built to take add-on modules (call button, card reader, keypad) below or beside it, so you choose which modules you need separately.
The 2MP fisheye camera gives a wide-angle view of whoever's at the door rather than a narrow, head-only shot — useful for seeing parcels on the step or a second visitor standing back. Built-in IR illumination keeps that view usable after dark.
Power and wiring
Runs on standard PoE (Power over Ethernet), so one network cable handles both data and power — no separate mains supply needed at the door. It also outputs 12V DC, 500mA directly, enough to drive one electronic lock without adding a separate lock power supply.
Access control
It has two-lock control outputs, so a single unit can release two separate doors or gates from the same intercom station.
Build and setup
The housing is stainless steel and rated IP65, meaning it's sealed against dust and can withstand water jets — suitable for an unsheltered outdoor entrance. Configuration is done remotely through a web interface, so once it's wired in, setup and later changes don't need someone stood at the door.
Check compatible Hikvision modules and your NVR/software before ordering, as this unit is one part of a larger modular system.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this unit come as a complete intercom kit?
No — it's the main door station unit only; call button, card reader or keypad modules are added separately to build a full system.
Can it power an electronic door lock on its own?
Yes, it outputs 12V DC at 500mA directly, enough for one lock without a separate power supply, and it has two lock control outputs in total.
Does it need a separate power cable?
No, it runs on standard PoE, so one Ethernet cable carries both power and network data.
Is it suitable for an exposed outdoor entrance?
Its stainless steel housing is rated IP65, giving protection against dust and water ingress, and it includes IR illumination for night-time use.
