A one-door, one-monitor video intercom that runs on just two wires — no network cabling, no PoE switch needed. The Hikvision DS-KIS101-P/Surface pairs a surface-mount outdoor door station with an indoor monitor, using a shared 2-core cable for both power and video/audio.
That 2-wire design is the main reason to pick this kit: on retrofit jobs, flats, small offices or outbuildings where pulling new network cable isn't practical, you connect door station to monitor on one simple run and it's plug and play from there.
What it does day to day
A visitor presses the one-touch nametag button at the door station; the indoor monitor rings with a live video call, so you can see and speak to whoever's there and unlock the door remotely.
