Product Description
The Hikvision DS-KV8413-WME1 is a four-button IP door station built for entrances shared by up to four households or units — think small blocks of flats, villas with an annexe, or HMO-style conversions rather than a single front door.
Each of the four buttons rings a separate indoor station, so visitors call the flat or unit they actually want rather than one shared handset for everyone.
What it does at the door
A built-in 2MP HD camera with infrared illumination gives usable visitor identification in daylight and after dark. Noise suppression and echo cancellation keep two-way audio clear even with traffic or wind noise nearby. An integrated Mifare card reader lets authorised residents unlock the door with a card instead of a key or buzzer — handy where you don't want to hand out physical keys to tenants.
Installation notes
- Power: PoE or 12V DC — pick whichever matches the cabling already run to the door.
- Connectivity: built-in WiFi plus web-based configuration, useful where a network cable to the door position isn't practical.
- Housing: aluminium alloy, rated IP65 (weatherproof) and IK08 (impact-resistant), so it's built for outdoor mounting.
Before ordering, confirm you actually need four indoor stations — this unit is overkill for a single-occupier house, but the right fit once you're managing several separate front doors from one entrance panel. Also listed under the code DS-KV8413-WME1(C).
