The Hikvision DS-2CE12KF0T-LFS is a 3K analog bullet camera built for anyone replacing tired coax cameras without re-cabling. It plugs straight into HD-TVI, AHD, HDCVI or CVBS recorders via one switchable output, so it fits most existing analog DVR setups.
Resolution tops out at 2960 × 1665 (3K) — noticeably sharper than standard 1080p, useful where you need to read a face or a plate rather than just spot movement.
Night-time colour, explained
This camera uses ColorVu: an F1.0 aperture (a wide lens opening that lets in more light) paired with Smart-Hybrid illumination — built-in IR and white-light LEDs that can work separately or together. The result is full-colour footage after dark, not just grainy black-and-white, out to 40 m with either light source.
Fitting it in
- Lens: fixed 2.8 mm or 3.6 mm — choose the wider 2.8 mm for entrances and yards, 3.6 mm for a tighter, more distant view.
