Product Description
The Hikvision DS-2CE70KF0T-MFS-R is a 3K turret camera that keeps full colour after dark and records audio through the same cable as the video.
What it actually does
- Daytime and night colour: an F1.0 aperture (a wide lens opening that lets in more light) keeps images in colour 24/7, not just switching to black-and-white infrared.
- Resolution: 3K, 2960 × 1665 — sharper than standard 1080p, useful for reading number plates or faces at moderate range.
- Night reach: white light (not infrared) illuminates up to 20 m, so night footage stays in colour rather than greyscale.
- Lens: fixed at 2.8 mm or 3.6 mm depending on the variant you buy — check which one suits your coverage area, as it can't be adjusted after fitting.
- Weatherproofing: IP67 rated, so it's built for outdoor mounting in rain and dust.
- Audio: a built-in mic sends sound down the same coaxial cable as the video, so no separate audio wiring is needed.
Before you buy
This is an analogue-type camera supporting TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS — one signal type, selectable via the DVR menu. Check your existing recorder supports one of these formats before ordering; it will not work with a pure IP/NVR-only system without a converter.
Storage isn't built in — you'll need a compatible DVR with its own hard drive to record continuously, especially given the higher 3K resolution uses more space than standard HD footage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this camera work with my existing DVR?
Only if your DVR supports TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS — this camera outputs one of these signal types, selectable in the DVR menu, not a pure IP/NVR signal.
Does it need infrared to see at night?
No — it uses white light to illuminate up to 20 m, which is why footage stays in colour at night instead of switching to black-and-white.
Does audio need a separate cable?
No, audio is carried over the same coaxial cable as the video via the built-in microphone.
Which lens option should I choose?
It comes as either a 2.8 mm or 3.6 mm fixed lens — check your coverage area before ordering, as the focal length can't be changed after fitting.
