Product Description
The Hikvision DS-PKF1-WE is a small wireless remote that arms, disarms, locks and unlocks a compatible Hikvision wireless alarm system at the press of a button.
What it actually does: it gives you two arming modes — "away" (full system armed, for when the property is empty) and "stay" (perimeter armed, for when someone's home but you still want doors and windows covered) — plus a separate lock/unlock control, all without walking to a keypad or opening the app.
Before you buy
- It needs a compatible Hikvision wireless alarm hub — this is an accessory, not a standalone alarm.
- Setup and later reconfiguration is done through the Hikvision mobile app once the keyfob is paired to the hub.
- Multiple enrollment methods are supported, so pairing it to the panel during setup is quick rather than fiddly.
Build and reliability
The keyfob uses frequency hopping transmission, which shifts the radio signal across channels to resist jamming and interference — useful if you're in a flat or estate with a lot of competing wireless traffic nearby. It runs on a replaceable battery with PCB protection, so when power runs low you swap the cell rather than the whole unit, and it's built small enough to sit on a keyring for everyday carry.
Worth checking your hub model supports this keyfob before ordering, since Hikvision's alarm range spans several wireless protocols.
