Product Description
This is a fanless aluminium case that cools a Raspberry Pi 5 by conducting heat straight into a CNC-machined heatsink body — no fan, no moving parts.
The block of aluminium is precision CNC machined to sit in direct thermal contact with the processor and other heat-generating components on the board. Heat spreads out across the finned surface and dissipates passively, so there's nothing to fail mechanically and nothing to whine or clog with dust over time — a genuine plus for CCTV network video recorders (NVRs) or edge devices left running unattended in a cabinet or plant room.
Because it's an open frame rather than a sealed box, USB, Ethernet, HDMI and GPIO stay fully reachable once it's fitted — useful if you're wiring in a PoE hat, storage, or sensors and don't want to strip the case down every time you need a port.
Worth checking before you buy
- Board fit: built for the Raspberry Pi 5 board layout specifically — mounting points and processor contact are matched to that board.
- Cooling type: fully passive; there's no fan to add noise or draw extra current, but airflow around the case still matters in an enclosed cabinet.
- Mounting: includes mounting holes for fixing to panels, enclosures or equipment frames — handy for embedded or industrial installs rather than desktop use.
- Use case: aimed at embedded, industrial and network-appliance deployments where the Pi runs continuously.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this case need a fan as well?
No — it's designed as a fully passive heatsink, with the aluminium body itself dissipating heat through direct contact with the board.
Will I still be able to access the ports once it's fitted?
Yes, it's an open frame design, so USB, Ethernet, HDMI and GPIO headers remain accessible after installation.
Is this compatible with other Raspberry Pi models?
It's built to match the Raspberry Pi 5 board layout and mounting points, so fit with other models isn't covered here.
Can it be mounted inside an enclosure or on a panel?
Yes, it includes mounting holes intended for fixing to panels, enclosures or equipment frames in embedded installs.
