Product Description
CAT6 RJ45 Patch Cable 10m White CCA UTP Snagless is a 10m white CAT6 lead for connecting cameras, NVRs, switches or PCs over Gigabit Ethernet — plug-and-play, no crimping needed.
What it is
Pre-terminated with RJ45 male connectors at both ends, wired T568B straight-through. That means it goes directly between a switch and an NVR, or a PC and a wall outlet, with no crossover adapter required.
Key specs
- 24AWG CCA (Copper Clad Aluminium) stranded conductors — supports 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet up to 100m
- 250MHz bandwidth — exceeds CAT5e, and stays backward-compatible with CAT5e gear
- UTP (unshielded twisted pair) — fine for typical indoor EMI from nearby power leads and CCTV kit
- Gold-plated RJ45 contacts with snagless moulded boots, so clips don't catch or snap during rack or patch panel work
- White PVC jacket, 10m length — tidy for visible runs in control rooms, offices or under a desk
One thing to check before buying
CCA conductors cost less than pure copper, but this cable is not recommended for PoE++ or 10GBase-T backbone runs. For IP camera, NVR, router or console connections it's a straightforward, capable choice — just don't spec it for high-power PoE camera runs or backbone links.
Useful for linking an NVR to an operator workstation, a PoE switch to a camera drop, or a router to a PC.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this for a PoE camera run?
It carries Gigabit Ethernet, but CCA cable like this is not recommended for PoE++ or 10GBase-T backbone applications — check your camera's power draw with your installer or the manufacturer's datasheet first.
Do I need a crossover cable instead?
No — this lead is wired T568B straight-through at both ends, so it connects switches, NVRs, routers, PCs and consoles directly without a crossover adapter.
Is CCA as good as pure copper cable?
CCA (Copper Clad Aluminium) is a cost-optimised conductor suited to non-critical horizontal runs and general data connections, rather than backbone or high-power PoE applications where pure copper is specified.
Will this work with my CAT5e equipment?
Yes, CAT6 is backward-compatible with CAT5e, so this cable integrates into mixed Gigabit and Fast Ethernet setups.
