The ACM Key Fob is a 125kHz proximity tag for access control doors. Present it to a compatible reader and the connected controller checks its ID code before unlocking.
How it works
Each fob carries a unique, factory-programmed ID — there's no on-site coding required. The reader picks up this ID within its detection range and passes it to the door controller, which decides whether to grant entry.
What to check before buying
- Reader compatibility: this fob works with EM4100 / EM4102 125kHz readers — a different frequency or protocol (some systems use 13.56MHz) won't read it.
- Housing: waterproof ABS plastic, so it can sit on a keyring exposed to weather without concern.
