Product Description
The SPL-1-4 is a lever wire connector with 1 input and 4 output terminals, used to split a single conductor into four separate connections at one termination point.
How it works
Each port uses a tool-free lever lock: lift the lever, insert the stripped conductor, press the lever back down. No screwdriver, crimp tool or soldering is needed. The lever mechanism is reusable, so a wire can be released and re-terminated if you change a circuit later.
Conductors and build
The connector is suitable for solid, stranded and flexible conductors. The housing is flame-retardant insulated plastic with metal internal contacts carrying the current path.
Where it fits
Its compact size lets it sit inside junction boxes, lighting fixtures, electrical enclosures and control panels. It's intended for lighting circuits, junction boxes and general electrical wiring — for example, distributing a single lighting supply to four separate light points or fittings from one connection.
Before you buy
Check that four outputs from a single input suits what you're wiring: the Lever Wire Connector, 1 In 4 Out – SPL-1-4 Grey splits no further than that 1-in/4-out arrangement. Check current and voltage ratings with your installer or the manufacturer's datasheet before use.
