The DS-K1T342MFWX-E1 is a door terminal that recognises your face, fingerprint, card or PIN, then releases the lock — no separate controller needed for small sites.
Face matching works from 0.3m to 1.5m away and takes under 0.2 seconds, so people don't queue at the door. That range matters at install time: mount it too far from where staff naturally stop and recognition slows down, so plan the bracket position around that 0.3–1.5m window rather than eye height alone.
