The DS-3E0105P-E/M(B) is a 5-port unmanaged Fast Ethernet PoE switch: four ports power IP cameras directly, the fifth is an uplink back to your NVR, router or core switch. There's nothing to configure — it detects connected devices automatically.

Standard Ethernet PoE runs are capped around 100m. This switch has an extend mode that pushes PoE transmission up to 300 metres, which matters if a camera sits out on a perimeter fence, across a warehouse yard, or at the far end of a car park, well beyond the cabinet.
