The DS-2DE5232IW-AE(S6) is a 2MP PTZ speed dome built for watching large open areas rather than a single doorway. Think car parks, yards, roads or perimeters where you need to scan wide, then zoom in on a number plate or face.
Its 32× optical zoom (4.8–153mm) plus 16× digital zoom means you can hold a wide patrol view and still pull in tight detail without losing usable image quality — the 1/2.8″ sensor outputs up to 1920×1080. Pan is a full 360° continuous, tilt runs from −15° to 90°, so blind spots behind or above the mount aren't an issue.
Night and difficult light
IR range is rated to 150m, backed by Hikvision's DarkFighter low-light processing, so it's aimed at genuinely dark sites, not just dusk. WDR (wide dynamic range — handles bright and dark areas in the same shot), 3D noise reduction, defog, HLC and BLC are all built in for glare, headlights and mist.
