This 2m HDMI cable connects an NVR or DVR's HDMI output to a monitor or projector — the standard link between your recorder and your viewing screen.
It's High Speed HDMI 2.0 certified, rated for 4K@60Hz (3840x2160) at 18Gbps bandwidth, so it can carry a sharp 4K feed from a modern NVR without dropping frames. It's also backward compatible with HDMI 1.4, so it works fine with older DVRs running at lower resolutions.
What's inside
- 28-30AWG OFC (oxygen-free copper) conductors — copper that's had oxygen removed during refining, giving a cleaner signal path
- Triple shielding (foil + braid) to cut interference from nearby PSUs and cabling in a rack
- Gold-plated Type A connectors at both ends, male to male
- PVC jacket, 6-7mm outer diameter, with moulded strain relief so the cable doesn't crack at the plug over time
It also carries ARC, CEC, HDCP and an Ethernet channel, plus support for HDR, Deep Colour and 3D — useful if your monitor and NVR both support these features, though most CCTV setups will simply use it for a clean video link.
Two metres is a practical length for rack-to-desktop or NVR-to-monitor runs in a control room or home office; for longer distances between a rack and a wall-mounted screen, check you're not stretching it taut, as HDMI cables have a maximum reliable run length before signal quality drops.
