Product Description
A WiFi-connected keypad that lets you manage door access from a phone, not just at the keypad.
The A9 is a standalone door access controller with a built-in RFID keypad, reading EM-format 125kHz cards and fobs. Because it connects via WiFi to the Tuya app platform, it supports OTA (over-the-air) configuration — meaning you can add or remove users and codes remotely, rather than programming everyone individually at the door.
Power and fitting
It runs on 12V-24V DC, which covers most standard access-control power supplies, and it's built waterproof, so it's suited to an external door frame, gate post or similar exposed location without needing a separate housing.
Wiring and outputs
- Wires directly to an electric strike or magnetic lock
- Includes a request-to-exit (REX) input for an exit button or PIR
- Wiegand output options (WG26/34/44/56/58) for connecting into third-party access panels or controllers
What to check before buying
Confirm your existing cards or fobs are EM-format 125kHz — other formats won't read on this keypad. If you're wiring into an existing access panel, check which Wiegand format it expects so you set the matching output. And since it relies on WiFi and the Tuya app for remote management, a stable local network connection is worth confirming at the install location.
