Product Description
What it does: the DS-1280ZJ-DM21-W is a junction box that sits under a compatible Hikvision dome camera, giving you a concealed space for network and power cable connections instead of leaving them exposed on the wall or ceiling.
Why it's useful
- Aluminium alloy construction — a durable enclosure suitable for both indoor and outdoor CCTV installations.
- Bottom or side cable entry — you can route cabling to match whatever conduit or path already exists on site.
- White finish — matches the housing colour of typical Hikvision dome cameras for a tidy look.
- Mounting base matches common Hikvision dome patterns, so fitting is straightforward on compatible models.
Where it fits
This is worth adding whenever you're mounting a Hikvision dome camera on a solid surface — wall or ceiling — and need room to tuck connectors and slack cable out of sight rather than cramming them behind the camera base. It's used across residential, commercial and industrial installs where a neat cable run and a stable mounting point matter.
Compatibility check
This box is compatible with selected Hikvision dome cameras sharing the same base pattern. Before ordering, check your specific dome camera model with your installer or the manufacturer's datasheet to confirm the base pattern matches.
