Product Description
Fixing equipment to a wall or ceiling takes two jobs: making the hole, then driving the screw. This kit, listed under MPN DEWALT-DCK2062062D2T-18V-2 PIEC (SKU DEWALT-DCK2062D2T-GB-18V), gives you a separate tool for each, so you aren't swapping bits back and forth on one machine.
The two tools
- DCD709 combi drill: drills, hammer drills (a rapid pounding action for tougher surfaces) and drives screws, across wood, metal and masonry.
- DCF809 impact driver: built for high-torque screwdriving and fastening.
Both are brushless, meaning the motor has no carbon brushes to wear down. That brings less maintenance and longer runtime per charge. Both are also compact, which helps in confined areas.
Checks before you buy
- Battery platform. Both tools run on DeWalt's 18V XR system. If you already own XR batteries or tools, they work alongside this kit.
- Battery size. You get 2 × 2.0Ah Li-Ion batteries. Ah (amp-hours) is capacity, and Li-Ion is lithium-ion.
- Charging. A quick charger is supplied, so you can recharge during a working day.
- Carrying. Everything travels in one TSTAK case.
The kit is aimed at professional trades, installers and workshop users.
