DeWalt DCD778P2T 18V XR Brushless Combi Drill — install kit for CCTV and general fixing work

This is a drilling and screwdriving tool, not a camera — but it's the drill most CCTV installers reach for when running cable, fixing brackets or mounting recorders, so we stock it alongside our surveillance kit.

It's an 18V XR brushless combi drill, meaning drilling, hammer drilling and screwdriving in one tool, with the brushless motor giving better efficiency and durability than older brushed designs. Maximum torque is up to 65 Nm, enough for fixing camera brackets into masonry, timber or metal without stalling.

• Drill body with 13 mm metal keyless chuck for fast bit changes
• Two-speed gearbox — high speed for drilling, lower speed for controlled screwdriving
• 15 torque settings, useful when you're driving screws into plasterboard one minute and brick plugs the next

Before you buy

Check the 13 mm chuck will take the drill and driver bits you already own, and confirm your masonry bits are rated for hammer drilling if you're fixing into brick or block. The 5.0Ah batteries and TSTAK case mean it's ready to use straight from the box, no separate charger or case needed.
