6U Wall Mount Network Rack Cabinet 600×450mm Lockable Black

What it's for

A 6U wall-mounted cabinet that gives you a lockable, ventilated home for patch panels, switches and other 19-inch rack equipment ("6U" means it takes six rack-mounted units stacked together, roughly a standard height slot for this class of hardware).

Key specs

• External dimensions: 600mm (W) × 450mm (D) × 370mm (H)
• Fits: standard 19-inch rack networking hardware — patch panels, switches, small routers
• Build: steel body, black powder-coated finish
• Access: lockable front door
• Cooling: ventilated panels for passive airflow around active equipment

Why the depth matters

At 450mm deep, this cabinet has more room than a shallow enclosure, which matters if you're fitting a switch with bulky rear connectors or need space to dress cables neatly behind the patch panel. Measure your deepest device before ordering — the 450mm is the external case size, not clear internal space.

Where it's used

Suits communications cupboards, small office network points, and CCTV installations where an NVR or PoE switch needs a secure, wall-mounted enclosure rather than sitting exposed on a shelf. The lock keeps casual tampering out while still giving installers easy access for maintenance.

Check your equipment's rack unit count and depth against the cabinet's 6U capacity and 450mm case size before buying — that's the main compatibility question with wall-mount cabinets like this one.
