HIKVISION Rain Shade DS-1250ZJ-W

The Rain Shade for Hikvision Dome Cameras (DS-1250ZJ-W) is a small cover that fits over an outdoor dome camera housing, shielding the lens area from direct rain and snow so the view stays clear in exposed mounting spots.

Why fit one

On a wall or pole-mounted dome with no overhang, rain running straight down the housing can sit on the lens cover and blur the image. A rain shade breaks that direct line, sitting above the dome rather than sealing it.

Key specs

• Material: composite fibre (not metal) — keeps the added weight low on pole or wall mounts
• Weight: 199 g
• Dimensions: 264.7 × 152 × 189.6 mm
• Finish: Hikvision White, matching standard Hikvision dome housings

Before you order

Hikvision lists this shade as compatible with a range of its dome cameras rather than one specific model, which is useful if you're fitting several different domes across a site. Check the dome you're using against the shade's own footprint above — if the housing is noticeably larger or smaller than that, it won't sit correctly. It's a straightforward accessory rather than a replacement housing, so it works alongside the camera's existing mounting rather than changing how the camera is fixed in place.
